San Miguel de la Salinas is just a 10 minute drive from Vistabella Golf Resort. San Miguel is a traditional Spanish town, with many shops, bars and restaurants. Tapas is a favourite here. Meson el Prado and Las Cuevas are both very popular. The square in the centre of town is a great spot to sit and watch the world go by. The narrow cobbled streets make this a great town to explore.

The beautiful beaches of Cabo Roig and La Zenia are just a 20 minute drive from the Vistabella Golf Resort. Cabo Roig is famous for the ‘strip’ buzzing with many shops, bars and restaurants. Here you will find English, French, Italian, Indian, Mexican and of course Spanish cuisine, fine dining, themed bars and nightclubs. La Zenia beach is a beautiful cove with a ‘chiringuito’ beach bar perfect for a snack and a cold drink. In the past the mud baths were sometimes called the ‘fountain of youth’. As the mud dries, the skin stretches and it reduces any wrinkles. It also has many health benefits due to the rich mix of nutrients. The deep heat is also said to relieve pain from arthritis and aches and pains. It is worth a visit just for the experience.

The Costa Blanca has been described by the World Health Organisation as one of the healthiest climates in the world due to its microclimate. The daily average temperature ranges from 12 Celsius in January to 26 Celsius in July and August. Even in mid winter there are many sunny days with daytime temperatures exceeding 20 Celsius. Rain, although rare, will normally be between September and March. Vistabella Golf Weather is ideal with the slight sea breeze making the climate comfortable. Travelling to and from Vistabella Golf Course Resort, Alicante, is an easy and stress free experience which everyone wants when travelling. It is located just 45 minutes from Murcia airport and just 40 minutes from Alicante airport. Both airports have plenty of parking and easy to find car hire companies if needed.

Both airports also have budget airlines such as Easyjet and Ryanair operating, offering cheap and convenient flights to and from the UK as well as many other European countries. Flight times are between two and three hours depending where you are travelling from.
